Training For Labor Begins with Daily Exercise

Preparing for birth is a wonderful journey toward a transformational and life changing event. It is a moment in your life where you will be apart of an experience where you watch the beauty of life unfolding right before your eyes. Giving birth becomes more than an experience, it is a transformational event that changes you forever. 

My intention for this course is to give women the ancient techniques that instill confidence that comes from within. The course came about through the science of yoga and my own personal experiences with giving birth. The tools I will give you in this course will carry you through the most intense moments of your labor to help you find your own inner wisdom. I want women to know they
can give birth, and the body and mind work intuitively, powerfully, and mindfully.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

The Five Points of Yoga:

  • CLASS STRUCTURE
  • Class begins in the tea lounge for a 30 minutes of discussion with special speakers and presenters. This is such a unique class experience as you will learn about vital resources found locally to inspire your pregnancy and birth experience. You will meet a holistic practitioner, doulas, past birth with yoga students, and educators in the area. Followed by discussion is an hour prenatal yoga class to alleviate common pregnancy discomforts while training the body and mind to be fully prepared and trained for the "big event" the celebration of giving birth.

Why Exercise is so HUGE to your success.....



I really recommend that women practice yoga as early on in pregnancy as possible and maintain it until the last trimester. Here are a few reasons why I believe it is so crucial. Exercise throughout pregnancy is key to not only alleviating common pregnancy discomforts but it literally conditions your body for labor and benefits your baby. And talk about a speedy recovery.  Plus the techniques taught in the course are extremely useful for Labor, delivery, and postpartum. The course is a workshop with 30-45 minutes of discussion where you will learn specific techniques for labor as well as participating in an hour yoga class specific to pregnancy. I like women to be able to have time to really practice the breathing and do the postures which as so amazing in getting your body ready. So the sooner the better for joining in on the class. Plus I encourage you to continue to come throughout your pregnancy to give your muscles and mind memory. It is also really nice to meet other pregnant mamas. From Jena Baird
